MAGNUS THANE BORRE

As a cell biologist I strive to find and use the right cellular model to answer important biological and clinical questions, in order to create the best possible treatment and care for the individual patient. As a research assistant at CSS I am working with patient derived organoids (PDO) to investigate the cellular and genomic “fingerprint” of the individual patient to tailor the best drug treatment, also called Personalized Medicine. Recently we have established an Air-Liquid interface (ALI) model, to investigate the Immune response, using the patients own cancer and immune cells.
