I work with one foot in the Data Science team and the other in the clinical sciences. My project entails designing and training prediction models for adverse outcomes after colorectal cancer surgery, assisting with developing our MDT+ platform (mainly front end), and testing both the prediction models and platform by simulation studies surrounding the colorectal cancer multidisciplinary team conference. My interest is to safely and efficiently help to implement artificial intelligence (AI) as a clinical decision support tool
