My name is Ilze Ose. I am a trainee in general surgery and a Ph.D. student at the Center for Surgical Science, Zealand University Hospital, Denmark. I have a particular interest in colorectal surgery, especially cancer surgery. My research focuses on optimizing colorectal cancer treatment in elderly, frail patients. I work to improve individual risk assessment, personalize treatment plans, and utilize the perioperative window for targeted interventions aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients with colorectal cancer.
