Men overf\u00f8rslen af resultater fra basalforskning til en forbedret patientbehandling er stadig en sv\u00e6r, men vigtig udfordring. Ved at stille kliniske sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l, baseret p\u00e5 resultaterne fra basalforskningen, bestr\u00e6ber vi os p\u00e5 at give kliniske svar og at udvikle nye behandlingsregimer og -strategier for at forbedre patienternes outcome. Da kirurgi stadig er vigtig for de fleste kurative behandlinger, mener vi, at den molekyl\u00e6rbiologiske forskning er lige s\u00e5 v\u00e6rdifuld for personlig kirurgi som for personlig medicin.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Vores m\u00e5l er at overf\u00f8re de videnskabelige translationelle opdagelser til patientbehandlingen i kirurgisk onkologi og perioperativ medicin. Vores hovedfokus er patofysiologien ved perioperativ stress, og den \u00e6ndring af potentielle stressfaktorer, der ses ved kolorektalcancer. I samarbejde med etablerede kliniske forskere fremmer vi det tv\u00e6rvidenskabelige samarbejde mellem kliniske investigatorer og forskere indenfor translationel og basalforskere indenfor translationel forskning. Gruppen underst\u00f8tter forskere og klinikere fra de tidlige planl\u00e6gningsstadier af konceptudvikling, design, analyseplan og budget til udf\u00f8relse, dataanalyse, datarapportering og klinisk implementering. Vi har tv\u00e6rvidenskabelige samarbejder med nationale og internationale forskningsgrupper, hvor vi tester basale forskningsresultater for deres kliniske effekt og anvendelighed. Vores translationelle studier omhandler de f\u00f8rste kliniske fors\u00f8g, proof of concept-studier, og testning af nye interventioner i tidlige fors\u00f8g, for at danne grundlaget for anvendelse og implementering i klinikken, og det perioperative forl\u00f8b.<\/p><p>Via hospitalets egne laboratorier og eksterne forskningslaboratorier kan vi rekvirere analyser og bioinformatik. Vores translationelle laboratorieforskning fokuserer p\u00e5 \u00e6ndringer i genekspressionsprofiler, \u00e6ndringer i cytokinprofiler, celleadh\u00e6sion og -migration, dynamiske \u00e6ndringer i Behandling med calcium elektroporation vil ikke blive sammenlignet med andre behandlinger. Alle patienter behandles \u00e9n gang, men ses der tilbagev\u00e6rende tumorv\u00e6v ved opf\u00f8lgning, og sk\u00f8nner investigator, at det er sikkert, vil patienterne blive tilbudt genbehandling op til maksimalt 3 behandlinger med 4 ugers mellemrum. Der vil blive indhentet biopsi fra f\u00f8r stentanl\u00e6ggelse samt v\u00e6v fra den stentede og fjernede kr\u00e6ftknude.
