BPDM arbejder med datadrevet forskning og udvikling (RnD) og er opbygget ud fra en translationel struktur, hvor kompetencer der er n\u00f8dvendige for udvikling af personlig medicin samles.  BDPMs form\u00e5l er at udforske international tilg\u00e6ngelige l\u00f8sninger til at behandle  data ved hj\u00e6lp af kunstig intelligens, identificere de l\u00f8sninger der effektive kan bruges med dansk data og udvikle modeler, der kan accelerere forskningsprocessen og formidling af forskningsresultater for at forbedre diagnostik, prognoser og behandlinger af patienter. \u00a0
