aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1181\"><p>I dag oplever minimum \u00e9n ud af fire patienter komplikationer efter tarmkr\u00e6ft-kirurgi, som medf\u00f8rer genindl\u00e6ggelse, varige m\u00e9n og i nogle tilf\u00e6lde d\u00f8d. Et nyt forskningsprojekt, kaldet FLORENCE, skal forbedre diagnosticering, prognose og behandling af patienter med tarmkr\u00e6ft ved at anvende kunstig intelligens (Artificial Intelligence).<\/p><p>In addition to AI, the FLORENCE project uses the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohdsi.org\/data-standardization\/\">OMOP Common Data Model, <\/a>\u00a0which is one of the leading approaches to creating data infrastructures that facilitate the use of personalised medicine in medical care.<\/p><p>FLORENCE projektet anvender OMOP Common Data modellen, som er en f\u00f8rende tilgang til at skabe datainfrastrukturer, der fremmer anvendelsen af personlig medicin i sundhedsv\u00e6senet (dvs. skr\u00e6ddersyet behandling af den enkelte patient). Via det, som kaldes federeret l\u00e6ring, vil projektet som noget helt nyt p\u00e5 globalt plan, koble AI-modellen direkte til klinikken p\u00e5 hospitalet. Projektet vil p\u00e5 l\u00e6ngere sigt v\u00e6re med til at skabe en international best practice for implementering af registerdatabaserede AI-modeller i klinisk praksis.<\/p><p>The project\u2019s lead partner is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/centerforsurgicalscience.dk\/da\/\">Center for Surgical Science<\/a>\u00a0and the Research Department at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sjaellandsuniversitetshospital.dk\/\">University Hospital of Zealand in K\u00f8ge<\/a>. Partners are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oslo-universitetssykehus.no\/oslo-university-hospital\">Oslo University Hospital<\/a>\u00a0(respectively the Oncological Pelvic Surgery Unit and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kreftregisteret.no\/en\/\">Cancer Registry of Norway<\/a>),\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eit.lth.se\/\">Lund University<\/a>\u00a0og\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerome.dk\/\">DTU<\/a>.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sjaellandsuniversitetshospital.dk\/\">The Netherlands Cancer Registry (IKNL)<\/a>\u00a0is also participating in the project.<\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">FLORENCE er en forkortelse for centrale aktiviteter i projektet (dvs. federeret l\u00e6ring med OMOP-modellering af sundhedsdata for at forbedre tarmkr\u00e6ftbehandling i Norden).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1182\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1182\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">UNITE<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1182\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1182\"><p>One of the main targets of Personalized Medicine is to refine the stratification of a single patient aiming to provide improved diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment for the specific individual. This can be achieved by including not only a detailed account of the patient\u2019s health record, but also similar data from population-wide databases and clinical projects. These multiple data sources can be collected in a single and common data model to serve as a powerful platform. The model will include the necessary data science domains such as machine learning and aid the clinician in the decision-making process. To facilitate the implementation, real-time data from the electronic health report of the patient is needed.
