In our research laboratory, the focus is on core tissue and blood-based methodologies that can provide the best possible data to phenotype the tumor-related and patient-specific systemic immune profile.<\/span><\/p>

With our equipment and expertise, we are able to do more than 15 different types of analyses on blood and tissue samples.\u00a0<\/p>

Clinical research is the study of disease treatment and involves patients and samples from patients. Through clinical research, the effectiveness of new treatments can be tested in a controlled manner using clinical trials, or new knowledge about biological mechanisms during and after illness can be gained.<\/p>

Our nurses focus on the patients perspectives before and after sugery.<\/p>

Within a perspective of personalized medicine, we aim to individualize care and follow-up by meeting patient\u2019s needs and values. Our research is founded in clinical practice and naturally includes the clinical nurse specialists in the Department of Surgery.
